Our Story
Fossil Ridge Farms was created to find the perfect Fox Trotter to accommodate our mountain living. We are located in between the Big Horn Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains near Emblem, Wyoming and we needed a Fox Trotter with the size and stamina to endure the rugged, steep terrain. We also love the farm life, raising hay and various other animals on occasion.
Our Family
Russell and Jan were both born and raised in the Mountains of Wyoming. After completing both of our Bachelors Degrees we moved back home where we now raise our 8 kids. Country living has been in our blood for generations and we are trying to give that experience to our children. We hope to inspire them to enjoy and love all that God has given us.
